White Island in Camiguin

White Island or Medano Island is a sandbar about two kilometers from the beaches of Agohay and Yumbing. There is no doubt that it is the best beach in Camiguin. SEAIR flies from Cebu to Camiguin every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Call 8490100 for reservations. (Photo by Bikoy Villanueva)

Camiguin, it’s paradise! It’s one perfect destination in the Philippines. The food, the people, the place, many places to visit, truly wonderful. And, White Beach, it’s heavenly. Include this place in your itenerary. And prices? Not too expensive either.

White Island is a must see. Sail out at low tide and see how this small island shrinks and shrinks…
Do not forget your sun protection: sunglasses, hat and sunscreen of factor 45 at least.
    Hope to meet you soon.

Camiguin island is indeed a wonderful place! ;) your trip to the island would be so much worth it coz there are lots of destinations you can visit once you’re there: Ardent Hot Spring, Paras Resort, Highlands Hotel, Bahay Bakasyunan, Sto Niño cold Spring, Katibawasan Falls, Sunken Cemetery, Walkway, Soda Water and of course the white Island wc is really great! ;)

The place has a laid back atmosphere…people are friendly, totally safe coz it has zero crime rate…you can rent scooters at around 500 pesos for the whole day and you have to have you driver’s license w/o, i learned this lesson coz i forgot to bring mine so i wsnt able to rent one. hehehe! you can also rent a multicab for groups at P1000 to tour you around the island the whole day. I’ve been there thrice already and it’s always a fantastic trip for me everytime. :)
