What to See
You will never run out of things to do or see at Clark Pampanga. You can visit the Clark museum, play some golf, try your luck at the casino and get a look at the famous Mt. Pinatubo. For sure, you’ll find ways to occupy your time. To get you started, here are a few suggestions:
Clark Museum
The Clark museum offers a brief background of Clark’s history and how it evolved from an air base into special economic Zone. Opens Mon-Fri only.
Mount Pinatubo
Responsible for a catastrophic eruption in 1991, Pinatubo is quieter these days, but not dormant. Most hotels in Clark organize treks to the beautiful crater lake at the summit. It’s a tough trip, but worth the effort.
Museum Kapampangan
Here you can see photos and keepsakes of Pampangueno heroes, as well as relics of the province’s rich cultural heritage.
Mimosa Golf and Country Club
Not in the mood to trek to Mt. Pinatubo’s crater but still eager to get active? Check out Mimosa’s all-weather 36-hole golf course. This place also has a casino.
Fontana Leisure Park
A visit to the Clark museum not your thing? Then go to this resort club instead. It has both a golf course and casino. Evening activities include night swimming and live bands.
International Hot Air Balloon Festival
Every February this festival features hot air balloons from different countries that take often masse from the Clark Field for an aerial tour of the surrounding areas.
