To know more about batanes check out flicker.com and other website. You will surprised how much information there are about Batanes, but nothing beats going there. This is what you call a genuine cultural exchange.Ever since I started visiting Batanes ,I always feel like I left a part of me there. The funny thing is people think Batanes is unaccessible and typhoon hammered area, that may be a blessing making Batanes raw and untouched. But I myself favor this misinformation, which keeps the culture and tradition in tact. The truth of the matter is Batanes is accessible 12 months a year and in the months of July was supposed to be rainy turned out to be one the hottest month for 2008. From my last 3 years going to Batanes, weather had changed from the common stories that I hear. Hope Batanes can be part of your lifetime memories to share.. See you in Batanes!!!
