SEAIR OFFERS BORACAY-PALAWAN FLIGHTS

Travelers may now conveniently get the most out of their island-hopping experience with South East Asian Airlines’ (SEAIR) Caticlan-Busuanga flights. Sun worshippers can now have the best of both worlds: the exciting sights and flavors of white-sand Boracay as well as the natural beauty and rich diversity found in the marine sanctuaries of Busuanga, Palawan.

In response to increased tourist traffic in Boracay and Palawan, the airline now has a fleet of Dornier 328 and Let410 planes. The Dornier 328 is a state-of-the-art 32-seater twin engine turboprop aircraft allows SEAIR to fly its passengers from Manila to Caticlan in only 35 minute -- the fastest flight to Boracay offered by a local airline. The 19-seater Let 410 is ideal for small runways and other destinations where bigger airlines could not land.

“The Dornier 328 aircraft significantly reduces travel time to Boracay for tourists, thereby allowing them to maximize their travel schedule and reach these paradise destinations with less hassle,” said Patrick Tan, vice president for commercial affairs and director for corporate planning and development, South East Asian Airlines.

SEAIR has now flown almost 3 million passengers to 12 local tourist destinations: Manila; Caticlan and Borongan in Visayas; Basco in Northern Luzon; Clark and Baler in Central Luzon; Tablas in Southern Luzon; Daet in Bicol; Busuanga in Palawan, and Jolo, Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga in Mindanao.
