Good news to all hardworking students! Local domestic carrier South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) announced that its Dean’s List Promo is now one of its permanent special offerings. Qualified students may get as much as 50% discount on airfare to all destinations. The promo is open to all high school, college and graduate school students enrolled in any school in the country.
Students may avail of the promo by simply submitting a photocopy of his school ID, grade report card and certificate of excellent academic performance.
“We launched the Dean’s List Promo in early 2007 and it was well received by our customers. We’re more than pleased to make it a permanent promo offering to accommodate our topnotch students the whole year-round,” said Patrick Tan, Vice President for Commercial Affairs of SEAIR.
We understand the need for students to de-stress after a demanding and hectic term. The promo is open even during peak season to give them more time to have fun, relax and recharge for the next semester,” added Tan.
SEAIR provides its customers with up to 28 flights to Caticlan (Boracay) during summer season, with planes departing from Manila in 30-minute intervals. It also offers the most flights to Palawan.
The airline uses a fleet of Dornier 328s and LET 410s aircraft. The Dornier 328 is a state-of-the-art 32-seater twin engine turboprop aircraft which allows SEAIR to fly its passengers from Manila to Caticlan in only 35 minutes -- the fastest flight to Boracay offered by a local airline. The 19-seater Let 410 is ideal in small runways of Palawan and other destinations where bigger airlines could not land.
SEAIR has now flown almost 3 million passengers to 12 local tourist destinations: Manila; Caticlan and Borongan in Visayas; Basco in Northern Luzon; Clark and Baler in Central Luzon; Tablas in Southern Luzon; Daet in Bicol; Busuanga in Palawan, and Jolo, Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga in Mindanao.
